Meet Julie Owens

Julie Owens is a survivor who has worked in the domestic violence field for over twenty years. Her story is featured in FaithTrust Institute's award-winning documentary "Broken Vows: Religious Perspectives on Domestic Violence", the RBC television series “When Love Hurts” and several books, including Domestic Violence: What Every Pastor Needs to Know. She has played a key role in developing a wide variety of trainings, response teams, and community support organizations.
